Nagarik Aawaz invites applications from qualified and committed individuals for the post of Program Officer, Admin/Finance Office, Psycho-social Counselor & M&E Officer.

Position: Program Officer    

The candidate for this position will be based in Lalitpur and expected to perform the following tasks:

  • Ensure effective management and implementation of Nagarik Aawaz’s programs, initiatives, and activities.
  • Correspond and communicate with the related stakeholders, partners, networks, organizations, and individuals as per need. 
  • Represent Nagarik Aawaz in relevant meetings/ workshops.
  • Design, monitor, and evaluate programs and initiatives of Nagarik Aawaz
  • Design and facilitate the workshops/training in relation to the program implementation. 
  • Prepare related reports for organizational documentation and reference.
  • Conduct formal and community programs/events of Nagarik Aawaz as and when required.
  • Work closely with the District Coordinator in planning and making necessary arrangements for the programs.

Minimum required qualification: Bachelors degree in social science with two years of work experience. 

Position: Admin/Finance Officer    

The candidate for this position will be based in Lalitpur and expected to perform the following tasks:

  • Responsible for overall administrative and financial management, budget planning, implementation of organizational policies and procedures, and day-to-day financial transactions of the program.
  • Skill and Knowledge of preparing journal voucher, control ledger, Bank reconciliation, and other related financial reports as per the provided formats of the donor
  • Maintain good written and verbal communication skills in English and Nepali; good skills in computer applications (Excel and other Financial Software), Preparation of auditing, and must have sound knowledge of taxation.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with the vendors, bank, program colleagues, and other related stakeholders for smooth handling of the project finance function.
  • Coach community-based groups and ensure the required documents are maintained in the community-level financial transactions.
  • Administrative duties and responsibilities are to conduct works related to general administration, assets management, coordination, procurement function, inventory management, etc

 Minimum required qualification: Bachelors degree in social science with two years of work experience.

Position:  Psychosocial Counselor

The candidate for this position will be based in Lalitpur and expected to perform the following tasks:

  • Provide psychosocial counseling  
  • Keep updated records of each individual client and maintain an effective documentation system
  • Network with other service centers for a referral to critical cases
  • Liaison with related organizations, institutes for availing the services, which might be useful for the clients
  • Preparing related reports for organizational documentation and references.

Minimum required qualification: Bachelors Degree in related field with two years of work experience.

Position: Monitoring & Evaluation Officer  

The candidate for this position will be based in Lalitpur and expected to perform the following tasks:

  • Develop and implement M&E plan of the projects of Nagarik Aawaz to generate regular information related to the progress of the project.
  • Develop common indicators for data collection, design data collection tools/ templates, and assist with regular data collection/generation process.
  • Provide technical support to project team on implementing M&E plan and share skills and tools to the team
  • Coordinate with the program team to collect and analyze data and to determine progress achieved.
  • Track project output and outcome level results on a periodic basis in close coordination with the project’s implementing team as well as with implementing partners.
  • Collect, check, verify and compile data from the field as stipulated in the M&E plan. Update and maintain the project database.
  • Prepare the M&E unit’s periodic progress report and submit it to the supervisor.
  • Contribute to developing and managing knowledge products (knowledge management) of projects.
  • Prepare monitoring field visit plan and conduct monitoring visit as and when required.

Minimum required qualification: Bachelors Degree in related field with two years of work experience 

Duration: Initially for one year with possible extension for all above positions.
